I like the carnitas burritos. They play out atop a solid base-line of refritos and large chunks of lean and tender pork. To this they add a fresh salsa of coarsely chopped onions, jalepenos and tomato. The onions and jalepenos are sharp enough to shine through the powerful savory base, and these are what make the burrito interesting. I found that I noticed the tomato more as temperature and texture than as flavor and didn't notice the cilantro at all (little surprise, given the competition) ... but I think that more of them would have been a distraction from the savory theme.

Wow! I am so happy my girlfriend and I wandered into this place! The food is fantastic and the service is very friendly. It took a little while to get our food but I believe this to be because everything was fresh and put together after we ordered it. I got a HUGE plate of food for $6.50 I wish I could have had a cold beer to wash down the burrito I ate but they do not have a license. As they have been in business without one for 37 years it does not seem that they are in any hurry to get one.
Go check it out and enjoy!
