Many fellow and maybe former SDA students know this place as the place you would resort to if you did not yet have a drivers license or if you and your friends could not decide on a place to eat during the regular 35 minute lunch. It is a fall back. Their comparatively short burritos (compared to the monsters of Kotija Jr. and Mexico Viejo) are unsatisfying for the price. Though they are famous for their soups, I have never in my many visits seen someone order a bowl. We live in San Diego. It's not cold enough for soup here. The only reason to recommend a visit is if you have come down with the dreaded H1N1 and are looking for a miracle cure, I hear the Spicy Chicken Tortilla Soup cures all. I saw they are putting a Subway in next door (whats new) and when being compared, Jorges, I choose you. Another positive, the owner will usually spare you the burden of hauling around a pocket full of change and do some rounding.
