Tonayense has steadily been increasing the number of taco trucks they have placed around San Francisco, putting their fourth smack-dab in front of the Best Buy at 14th and Harrison. It's a weird location - the freeway goes right by, the local denizens are by and large insane, and the lack of nearby park space makes it pretty difficult to enjoy your food right there.

Been there 3 times. The first time was pretty good, the second was decent, and the third, well the only reason I ate there is I was in a hurry and didn't know anywhere else in town I could find a parking spot at and eat quick!

Way overpriced, not that big. Massive skimpage on the meat. It says it's Zagat-rated, and certainly isn't awful. It is definitely worth a try.

How can something as simple as grilled chicken vary so much? Not only from place to place but from the same place? I'm very particular with my meats and don't care for this place's beef or chicken. I have no clue how they get their grilled chicken to the consistency and appearance they do. One time I got a lovely chicken vein of some sort in my burrito that was a good 2 to 3 inches long... and bluish purple.

I walk the extra distance to Poncho Villa on 16th instead of gambling with the meat from this mystery machine.
