I had a BuenoBueno burrito with Carne Asada. It was large, well-wrapped, and had no truly objectionable qualities. It was just ordinary, not good considering the price was over $6. I ordered it Spicy; if that was spicy, I wouldn't want to tast mild. There were no outstanding flavors and would be suitable for a hospital patient on a bland diet. I'd rate Bueno Bueno no higher than Fair, Unmemorable, Bland.. I don't expect to return, a burrito should be somewhat memorable and this isn't it.

Started eating at BB 8 years ago and found them to be a great selection and high quality food. Since I started to eat there, I switched from vegetarian to vegan which they do a great job with! The chips can get a little stale, but the red salsa is nice and hot so you won't taste the difference! I like to tell people the named the Uncle Doug after me, but know it was named after the original owners uncle. They have a good selection of fillings like black beans, pinto beans and lentils.
Both locatoins are good, the Shoreline has a more limited menu, but still has very fresh food as well as a good deal! I hit the Shoreline about once a week, more if it weren't so much food to eat!

ill admit to a certain bias towards bueno bueno, as i have been delivering produce there daily since they opened in what, 1989? they were really the first non traditional mexican "burritoria" i think they call it, in that they dont use any animal oils for cooking, and truly do utilize fresh produce and meats. they buy tomato, lettuce, cilantro, onions, avocado and fruits for the fresh waters daily, i still deliver there 6 days a week. other places on your list take delivery two times a week, and a few just once a week. yeah, figure that out. the original owners sold to some close friends, another couple who maintain the high standards and delicious flavor and recipe of the founders. so what is it? a fresh 5 dollar burrito, workers who are long term and care about their product, and is essentially the original big burrito in mountain view. if you like food that tastes fresh and not heavy or fatty, go nowhere else. ive eaten at them all since i live in mountain view. there is no comparison.

Annoyingly, the take out menu differs from the menu displayed above the counter. Being a vegan, the right thing would've been to get The Ultimate Veggie (on the take out menu) rather than what I got (a Regular Veggie Burrito without cheese or sour cream with whole wheat tortilla).
I'll review my burrito nevertheless.
The burrito came with whole pinto beans, mild salsa (I asked for hot), lettuce, and rice. The rice was good. There was also a salsa "bar" (a few squeeze bottles), but found the burrito was better without it. The chips were nondescript and probably raised my blood pressure level due to all the salt.
Noelle got a BBQ pork burrito and found it unexciting. She gave it a 5, I gave my burrito an 8, so we compromised on a 7.

This place is the greatest! Quick and super yummy! If you like spicy they can make it extra spicy for you!!! And if it's too spicy or just in the mood for a treat no problem because they also have a yogurt bar in the burrito shop. Score!!!!! They also take for phone orders and will have it ready by the time you arrive. Even if you are only a block away!
Enjoy. DC
