On my way back from Pleasanton today, I hopped off of BART and walked over to my favorite street in Oakland - International Boulevard. There were a few people waiting outside of Taqueria 16 de Septiembre, so I walked on in. Everyone ahead of me ordered carne asada, so I did the same.
My burrito was quite good, mostly because of the fiery salsa, crunch onions, and amazing ingredient integration. This might have been the best-integrated burrito I've ever had; the friendly woman behind the counter took great care in making it, and that care showed in every bite. She spoke only Spanish, so I did the best I could in that language, and she was kind enough to tell me that I spoke very well. What a wonderful place.
