We were planning on hitting the San Mateo branch of La Cumbre after hearing a sparkling recommendation from a friend, but Cumbre was closed for the holiday. After a few fits and starts ("Hey, that's not a taqueria...it's a jewelry store!") we ended up at Las Palomas. It's more of an LA-style joint than the other places in town. I did get this photo - this is a super and a super baby burrito, together on a table. Quite the difference in size here.
