I'm all about taco truck solidarity--think globally, eat locally and all that. I had a burrito and taco from a Stockton taco truck at the Community Dance Festival* over the weekend. Carne asada burrito, carne asada taco for five bones (which was four more than the number in the taco...)
Very tasty. I'd asked for an al pastor burrito, but she made it with asada. I told her in Spanish that I'd take it anyway, which is why I think she tossed me the fifty-cent discount. It was meat and cilantro and rice, in addition to being scorchingly hot temperature-wise and pretty tasty, as these Central Valley items tend to be.
*Ghirardelli Movement Arts and San Joaquin Delta College Dance are truly excellent--check 'em out.
